Photography is more than taking pictures it’s learning to see the world differently. Through L8GACY’s Photography Workshops, you’ll explore the art of storytelling through images while developing your technical skills, creative vision, and confidence behind the camera.
Led by Kevin Hernandez photographer, musician, and founder of the L8GACY Project these workshops are designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your craft, you’ll gain practical tools, creative techniques, and new ways to connect with your surroundings.
Each workshop blends hands-on learning, field experience, and personal reflection, helping you find your voice as an artist while building technical skills in:

Visual storytelling and editing fundamentals
Sharing your work with confidence
Workshops are hosted across Colorado, from the San Luis Valley to the Front Range, with both group sessions and 1:1 mentorship options available. Sliding scale and community rates are offered to keep learning accessible.
Workshop Packages
Intro to Photography — $150
A half-day (3-hour) workshop focused on the fundamentals.
Learn to use your camera in manual mode, understand light, and capture compelling images with intention.
Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting to reconnect with their creative eye.
Storytelling Through the Lens — $300
A full-day (6-hour) workshop combining creative practice with personal storytelling.
We’ll explore portrait and landscape techniques, composition, and editing — while diving into how to tell stories that feel real and human.
Weekend Intensive — $600
A two-day immersive experience combining fieldwork, mentorship, and post-production guidance.
Includes guided shoots in natural light, editing sessions, and feedback to help you shape your visual style and strengthen your artistic voice.
1:1 Mentorship — Sliding Scale ($100–$150/hr)
